Celebrities Embrace Scientology, Converting To Religion?

Absolutely it's not as many as those embracing Christianity, nor outdo those converting to Islam, but why do celebrities embrace scientology? There are commonly great religions like Christianity, Catholics, Buddhism and Hinduism where in some countries, they become official. To find out the answer we don't have to be United States Naval Aviator Lieutenant Pete "Maverick" Mitchell played by Tom Cruise who flies an F-14A Tomcat off USS Enterprise (CVN-65), with Nick "Goose" Bradshaw (Anthony Edwards) as his Radar Intercept Officer (RIO).

Developed by L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology is a religion that offers a precise path leading to a complete and certain understanding of one’s true spiritual nature and one’s relationship to self, family, groups, Mankind, all life forms, the material universe, the spiritual universe and the Supreme Being. Scientology addresses the spirit—not the body or mind—and believes that Man is far more than a product of his environment, or his genes.Scientology comprises a body of knowledge which extends from certain fundamental truths. Prime among these are: Man is an immortal spiritual being. His experience extends well beyond a single lifetime. His capabilities are unlimited, even if not presently realized. None including here are Islam, Christianity, Catholics, Buddhism or Hinduism.

One particularly fascinating subject that the documentary tackles is the relationship between celebrities and the church, which has been well-documented particularly with two of its most famous members: John Travolta and Tom Cruise. The film goes into detail about how much Scientology leader David Miscavige relies on star power to recruit new members and raise money. why do these actor embrace an absurd religion? You don't even know who your God is. It's not the one find in Islam, Christianity, Catholics, Buddhism or Hinduism. The things to manage and control your life is your brain, the spirit of your thought and this is close to atheism.

Maybe if you read about Sam Harris, the great non-fiction writer, another question would be: why does not Sam Harris embrace scientology while some phenomenal celebrities do? And why not Islam, Christianity, Catholics, Buddhism or Hinduism? How can we be sure of? Or do you want to understand more about what he says: "Being secular is not a positive virtue like being reasonable, wise, or loving. To be secular, one need do nothing more than live in perpetual opposition to the unsubstantiated claims of religious dogmatists. ... Criticizing religious irrationality is absolutely essential. But secularism, being nothing more than the totality of such criticism, can lead its practitioners to reject important features of human experience simply because they have been traditionally associated with religious practice."

It is not just about why celebrities embrace scientology, and do they know about what they're really doing? Do you believe that science is not religion and it doesn't just come down to faith. Although it has many of religion's virtues, it has none of its vices. Science is based upon verifiable evidence. Religious faith not only lacks evidence, its independence from evidence is its pride and joy, shouted from the rooftops. When you profess Islam, Christianity, Catholics, Buddhism or Hinduism, you will surely have different perception and it has nothing to do with why Celebrities Embrace Scientology, instead of your religion. Well, anyway, this blog is Entertainment is Just Weird.
