Weird Security Guard?

This security guard won't do anything to stop a man from doing other harm. He's just standing still there and saying nothing. Even if you make face at him, he won't react.

You cannot find the like anywhere in the world but only in Jakarta, Indonesia. And one thing for sure, He is on duty only once in a year. Let me introduce him to you. This weird security guard is called Ondel-ondel. It's a giant doll in which you can move it from inside, appearing especially when Jakarta celebrates its anniversary.

The ondel-ondel is not only placed by the office door as you can see at this picture, but also in government offices and any public places. They look weird, especially if you see it for the first time. Maybe it's like when toddlers crying of a clown.
